Ongeluk Python efteling Kaatsheuvel

Passagiers van achtbaan de Python in de Efteling zijn maandagavond aan de dood ontsnapt. De trein van de achtbaan van het themapark in Kaatsheuvel was op het hoogste punt vastgelopen maar rolde tijdens de evacuatie van de inzittenden plotseling verder. Een ooggetuige filmde het incident met een telefoon.

'Python-slachtoffer' belt de Efteling

Nog één keer dan voor eens en voor altijd: ik was de vermeende Otto NIET! Google maar even, bel Giel Beelen wat mij betreft. Mijn goede hemel, je moet wat kunnen verdragen hoor na een grapje als dit te hebben uitgehaald. Ik zal nooit grappen gaan maken over kanker, omdat dat gewoon niet grappig is. Lees mn 'kanker-column' op FOK! genaamd 'Wat een kankerharde column', geschreven maanden voor dit Otto-dingetje. Dan zie je dat ik al een hekel heb aan het feit dat het woord uberhaupt wordt gebruikt. Beetje relativeren maar weer eens. We bellen als 'slachtoffer van het recente Python-accident' met de Efteling, omdat ik hierdoor een trauma zou hebben opgelopen. Prijzenswaardig is toch wel de kundige en meelevende reactie van de Efteling-medewerkster!

Efteling Piraña - RCT3

Based upon the ride in the Efteling. Piraña takes you to a Pre-Columbian palace, with Aztec, Mayan and Incan ornamentals, guarded by a few Toltec Stone Warriors and a Chacmool in Zapotec style. In this enormous building, a station is located, where you can get aboard of your boat/raft-like vehicle, which wil take you over the Piraña river. It starts calm, but all of a sudden...a waterfall, more waterfalls. Conclusion: THE CHANCE THAT YOU MIGHT COME OUT SOAKED IS QUITE CERTAIN. I've tried to recreate Piraña in RCT3. The ride itself looks pretty much the same. The building though doesn't. There is one simpel reason for this: due to a lack of Aztec, MAyan and/or Incan decorations, I had to use the Atlantis theme. but still there are enough similarities to recognize the ride. It has 4 inversions, 2 loops and 2 corkscrews. -------------------------------------- De Python is een Verkoma double Loop Corkscrew achtbaan in de Efteling. Hij is geopend op 12 april 1981. De baan bevat 4 inversies, 2 loopings en 2 kurkentrekkers. Ik weet dat de 2 kurkentrekkers niet goed staan. Het is niet mogelijk om ze goed neer te zetten in RCT3. Plaats daarom geen berichten meer waar dat in staat.... -------------------------------------------- De trap langs de lifthill, is de catwalk. Ik heb deze gedownload. De Vliegende Hollander, Efteling

This ride has been in development for more than four years and today was the day De Vliegende Hollander (The Flying Dutchman) was presented to the press and a few hundred 'test'-passengers. The ride is a combination of a walk-through, darkride and rollercoaster ending in a large watersplash. The total investment was more than 20 million euro, the biggest investment De Efteling did in a new ride.
