Rom bastardo: inchiesta su razzismo in Italia - Parte 1 di 3

Sporchi, ladri, farabutti, scansafatiche e contrari a ogni integrazione? Oppure cittadini normali con una loro cultura, usanze e stili di vita? Chi sono i rom? Da queste domande parte un documentario realizzato dai giornalisti e collaboratori di Focus Carolina Borella, Franco Capone e Andrea Minoglio che cerca di analizzare e smontare alcuni dei luoghi comuni sui rom, oggi oggetto di una campagna discriminatoria e razzista. Il titolo è volutamente provocatorio "Rom bastardo". Perché lo si è scelto? "Romeni bastardi" è la scritta che campeggia su un muro di fianco a un gruppo di case a Pavia, dove vivono alcune famiglie di rom. Segno evidente di un doppio luogo comune e, soprattutto, del un nuovo clima di razzismo dilagante, oggi, in Italia. Quello che vuole tutti i romeni inevitabilmente rom. E quello che vuole tutti i rom inevitabilmente "bastardi". Non a caso "ve ne dovete andare bastardi" era anche la frase più urlata dalla gente a Napoli mentre venivano bruciate le baracche di un campo rom. Imparare dalla storia? "Stirpe di Caino" avrebbero invece detto i notabili dei governi autoritari europei di quattro secoli fa, quando iniziarono a porre quel marchio razziale che indusse i nazisti a sterminare, assieme agli ebrei, mezzo milione di rom. Ma i rom sono davvero "sporchi, nomadi, ladri"? Sono loro a produrre "sporcizia" o alcuni italiani, invece, li usano come alibi per le proprie discariche esistenti proprio vicino ai loro campi? È vero che rifiutano l'integrazione, la scuola, il lavoro, la casa? E perché se un italiano ruba è un ladro, ma se un rom ruba tutti i rom sono ladri o, ancora peggio, assassini?

The song is 'Don't Trust Men' (남자를믿지마/Namjareul Mitjima); featuring Big Tone. Written by Kang Dong Chul a.k.a. Brave Brother. To answer 'those' questions that everyone seems to have: 1. As you can see, the person who wrote this song is one of Minwoo's good friends, Kang Dong Chul. Kang Dong Chul is one of the Brave Brothers (Older brother is Kang Hyuk Chul), and they're the ones who worked on songs like Son Dambi's Crazy, U-kiss's Not Young, Brown Eyed Girl's How, a bunch of Big bang productions, etc. Hope that answers everyone's question about the style similarities between these songs. 2. When asked about being compared to Taeyang's Only Look at Me in an interview, this was his answer: "I expected that. The arrangement is, on the whole different, just that the beat is somewhat similar. After Justin Timberlake first used that beat for My Love, it became quite popular and commonly used. Other than that, the melody is completely different!" 3. No, that's not Shinae. Yes, they did date each other for a little under two years, but broke up in 2005-2006. Seems like their busy schedules didn't allow any free time to date. They broke up mutually and are still good friends. 4. When asked why he didn't use one of his own compositions for the title track like in the last two albums, he said: "I've been on good terms with Brave Brother since some time back, and we both acknowledge and admire each other as musicians. Rather than to stubbornly make my own style of music, I thought it would be better if I took a step back and try letting someone else do it. That's why for this album I eased up on my ambitious desires and allowed myself more time to review what I have done so far. Of course for the fans it's a bit of a pity, but I've made it up in other ways. It will be great if the fans can understand this." 5. They show M in a recording studio, does he make his own music? Yes, Minwoo is a composer, lyricist, producer and has his own company. The recording studio shown in the MV is the actual studio he recorded in and the staff you see are the actual M Rizing staff, who were made to be extras with no pay haha~ 6. He's most charismatic when he's working. The outfits in the MV are what we usually see Minwoo wearing when he goes casual. And Minwoo-water combo is always nice :D The dance reminds me a bit of the choreography for One last Cry. Love the move at 3:05. It's a bit weird when the girls in the back does it, but different when Minu does it. Also adore the spin at 3:39. It's back to the smooth Minwoo I fell in love with ^^ M Audi?
