7x7x7 V-cube 7 Solve - 9:46.52 - First time sub-10 minutes

I solve the V-cube 7 in 9 minutes and 46.52 seconds. This was the first time I ever broke 10 minutes. I know it's a long video, so feel free to skim through it. It's not a very fast solve, but I am still getting used to the 7x7 and am becoming faster. I did pop a piece accidentally, but put it back pretty quickly. Thanks for watching!

How to Solve a Rubik's Cube - Step 1 - White Cross

In my tutorial, I will teach you how to solve a Rubik's Cube (regular 3x3)using 7 steps, which I explain in detail. My videos are longer than others you may find, but I feel that by spending more time with you for each step, you will understand it better than if I rush through it like those other videos. Although my videos are longer, it will pay off in the shorter amount of time you spend solving your cube. Other methods tend to use repetitive moves, not letting you understand how the cube works very well and wasting too much time and too many moves. I taught quite a few people this method in college, and also family members and friends who were able to solve it relatively quickly once they understood the method. Once you have memorized the algorithms and also understand the method I use, you can solve the cube in ABOUT 1-2 MINUTES WITH PRACTICE. Go here to see my Rubiks.com page with links to ALL my tutorials!! http://www.rubiks.com/Academy/3x3%204x4%20and%205x5%20tutorials.aspx This is the first step of the Tutorial for solving the cube. THE SECOND STEP IS ON MY CHANNEL PLAYLIST AND ALSO IN THE VIDEO RESPONSES SECTION OF THIS VIDEO. Link for Step 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOkcgDNlBH0 Check out this video of a 7 YEAR OLD who solved the cube in under 3 minutes using my tutorial! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6dEUb1T8HA It involves first placing four white edge pieces around the yellow center piece. You must then match each individual edge piece with its side color and flip it until it is matched with both the white and side colors. *If you are HAVING DIFFICULTY getting the four white edge pieces around the yellow center, please SEE MY Step 1 b video, which gives further examples which should prove to be useful and give extra help. Also, please do not ever hesitate to ask me ANY questions at all about the cube or if you have any comments or problems. I am ALWAYS glad to help. If you are using this method, I can GUARANTEE that I can explain and help you with anything you need to know as long as you provide me the information about your cube. Send long questions to my inbox and I will definitely get back to you A.S.A.P. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 4X4 OR 5X5 TUTORIAL, LOOK NO FURTHER! CHECK OUT MY TUTORIALS ON MY CHANNEL PLAYLIST BY CLICKING ON MY NAME OR GOING TO WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/ROBH0629 As always, my tutorials are detailed and beginner friendly!! Thanks! How to Solve a 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube - Step 1 - Centers

In this tutorial, I will show how to solve the 4x4 Rubik's Revenge cube. We must first place centers (no algorithm needed), then pair each individual edge (one short algorithm because of parity). After that, the cube is very similar to solving a 3x3. In this video, I first give an introduction into the 4x4 cube and explain what we will need to accomplish before we can actually start to solve the cube. I also go over the notation we will need to become familiar with when performing given algorithms and then start to show you how to position/solve the six 'centers' of the cube. (NOTE* If you do not want to watch the introduction and notation, you can fast forward to 2:55 where I begin going over the centers*) The three main things we will be doing are: 1) Making 2x1 blocks within the center regions of the cube 2) Combining two 2x1 blocks to form a 2x2 center block 3) Adding a single center component to a 3 piece L. *NOTE* to do this, I recommend having the single center piece either in the lower left or lower right region and positioning the corner of the L (see video*) in the same location as that single piece. *NOTE* A good way to pick three centers to place in a clockwise direction (If you don't want to use red/white/blue) is to look at any corner on the cube and place the three centers in the same orientation/position as the colors on the corner. You do not have to worry about the corner when placing centers, you would just be using it to pick those three colors only. PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK AND/OR COMMENTS ON THE TUTORIAL VIDEOS OR SEND ME A MESSAGE AND I WILL ANSWER AS SOON AS I CAN (USUALLY WITHIN A DAY OR TWO)! I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR IF IT IS HELPING PEOPLE OUT. How To Solve a 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube - Step 2 - Edge Pairing

2) This is a tutorial on how to pair the edges of the 4x4 to eventually convert the 4x4 into what resembles a mixed up 3x3. We will have to know how to position edges opposite from one another and with switched orientations (colors on the same face). The algorithm we will use for this step is: (Dd) R F' U R' F (Dd)' *NOTE* In my video, I was a little ambiguous/unclear on how to position the last two pairs of edge pieces before performing the above algorithm. When I said we "need the same color on the same face".. I meant to say "both identical pairs of edges should have the same color on the same face as its complementary piece and be situated in the same layer as well".. I believe that the example in the cube cleared it up, but I just wanted to put it here too in case someone actually reads all this :-) This algorithm will be used to fix the remaining 2 pairs of edges. You may not have to even use this algorithm depending on how you match the last pairs of edges. IF YOU FIND THIS TUTORIAL HELPFUL PLEASE COMMENT. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF PEOPLE FOUND THE VIDEO HELPFUL.

How To Solve a 5x5x5 Rubik's Cube - Part 1 - Centers

This is the first step 1 and part 1 of my tutorial on how to solve a 5x5 5x5x5 Rubik's Cube Professor. The second part covers how to finish the remaining 4 centers. I have placed the link to the second part in the VIDEO RESPONSES section for THIS video. FOR THOSE NOT ALREADY SUBSCRIBED, PLEASE CLICK THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON SO THAT YOU WILL KNOW WHEN I RELEASE LATER PARTS OF MY TUTORIAL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 3X3 OR 4X4 TUTORIAL, PLEASE VISIT MY CHANNEL BY CLICKING MY NAME. THANK YOU. This part introduces new component descriptions and concepts for solving the 5x5 Rubik's Professor, since there are many more pieces than a regular cube and also more than a 4x4. However, solving the 5x5 is VERY similar to the 4x4, so you should not have that much difficulty getting adjusted to having more edges and center pieces. Notation Review/Examples: R = Outer Right face clockwise u = inner Up face clockwise (Ll)' = Both Outer and Inner left faces counter-clockwise (Rr)2 = Both Outer and Inner Right faces 180 degrees The main pieces that make up the center 3x3 block are (what I call them): -Middle Center Piece (the axis piece or middlemost part of each side). This color of this piece designates the color to the side it is on. There is only one per side. - Side/Edge Center Pieces - These basically flank the middle center piece, forming what looks like a cross when they are aligned properly next to the middle center piece. There are four of these pieces per side. - Corner Center Pieces - these pieces are on the 'corners' of the 3x3 center block. There are also four of these pieces as well. What we will be doing this part of the centers (part 1) is positioning/placing the first two centers of the 5x5 cube. I use white for my bottom and yellow for my top, solving the white center first. To create the centers, we will be making 2x1 blocks (as we did in the 4x4) and joining three of them together to form a 2x3 block. We will then be joining a 3x1 block to that 2x3 block to form the 3x3 center. To make the 2x1 blocks, we will first need to join an edge center piece with the middle center piece to form the first 2x1 block. The remaining two 2x1 blocks will then be formed by matching a corner center piece with an edge center piece How-To How To Solve a the 5x5 5x5x5 Rubik's Rubiks Rubix Rubics Rubick Cube Parity Errors Edge Edges Pair Pairing Professor Tutorial beginners Lesson Fast Faster Quickly Intermediate Advanced speed speedsolve fast faster placing centers Method edge pairing tredges 3x3 3x3x3 4x4x4 4x4 fridrich petrus algorithm parity errors help Erno Rubik 2 3 4 5 6 gen quicker quickly advanced match case world record

How to Solve a Rubik's Cube - Step 2 - Bottom White Corners

Link to Step 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTPOqmBame0 You must look on the top layer for corners which have a white color on the side (not top or bottom faces). Once you have found (or corrected using the R T180 Ri), you must match the other adjacent color to white (not on top again, but on the side) with its corresponding color diagonally. Now hold the center of the color that you just matched the white corner diagonally with and the white sticker should either be on the left or right face. Then you must perform the following moves: If white facing left, do Li Ti L (Li = left quarter turn counter-clockwise, L = left quarter turn clockwise), If white facing right, do R T Ri. You must do this for all four corners. IMPORTANT: When fixing corner pieces which have white facing UP,you must place it above the last empty corner space on bottom before doing the R T180 Ri or Li T180 L moves. IMPORTANT: you should NEVER be looking at the white color when you are placing it down, you should always be holding the center piece of the other color on the side with white while placing the corner piece. After you have placed all 4 BOTTOM WHITE CORNERS, you should see upside down COLOR T's on the 4 sides of the cube (not top or bottom). If you do NOT have these T's, that means you DID NOT match the corner pieces properly with its side color BEFORE using the 3 moves (up, towards you, down). Match the color on the ADJACENT SIDE of WHITE with its respective center. Then, while holding that center towards you, you must see whether the corner piece is now on the LEFT or RIGHT of that center piece. If on RIGHT, do R T Ri. If on LEFT, do the Li Ti L move. Watch the video for demonstration. ATTENTION: I WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO LET ME KNOW WHETHER THEY WERE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS STEP, SINCE IT IS A LITTLE TRICKY. How To Solve a 5x5x5 Rubik's Cube - Part 2 - Finishing Centers

Shows how to complete the remaining 4 centers of the cube. The last 2 centers are the trickiest to place, and I have included two main situations which occur when placing them. You will start to notice that the remaining centers will begin to pretty much solve themselves as you organize more and more pieces together. The last two centers are the hardest to work with, not because of how they are difficult patterns themselves, but because you have no other open centers where you can group things easily. Even so, there are ways to organize the pieces to make them a little easier to figure out. Also, please leave comments and/or questions and let me know if you want me to add something specific to this description as well. THE THIRD PART IS NOW OUT AND COVERS HOW TO PAIR THE TRIPLE EDGE PIECES (A.K.A. "TREDGES"). IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ON THE VIDEOS OR SEND ME QUESTIONS. How to Solve a Rubik's Cube - Step 3 - Middle Layer Edges

Link to Step 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGWXXzH9e24 A Tutorial on how to place the middle edge pieces. As viewer rorygamble (thanks) pointed out, I accidentally said "counter-clockwise" instead of "clockwise" at time 3:07. The move, however, was done correctly except I should have said "clockwise, or up" instead. Hope there was no confusion and let me know if there are any questions. Looking in the top layer, you must find edge pieces (have two colors) which do not have any yellow colored stickers (those are going to be placed later). The edge pieces you want to find are Red/Green, Green/Orange, Orange/Blue, and Blue/Red. Once you have found any of those in a top layer edge position, you must turn the top layer until the color on the side of that edge piece (such as blue in the blue/red edge piece) is matched with its center. You must then determine which direction the piece must be placed. If the color on top (for the red/blue piece that has blue on the side, the color on top is red) of the edge piece has a center to the left, the piece must be placed to the left, and vice versa. After determining where the piece needs to be placed, you must turn the top face a quarter turn AWAY from that direction. So if the red/blue piece is matched with the blue center (when blue colored sticker on the side) and the red center is to the left of the edge, you must turn that edge piece away from that center, or to the RIGHT (that would be top face counter clockwise). After you have turned the piece away from where it needs to be placed, you must take the side which has the color on the top of the edge piece (would be red on TOP for the red/blue piece if blue is on the SIDE) and perform the same move that was done in step 2. If the side is on the left, you do Li Ti L (or left up, top towards you, left back down). If the side that has the color the same as the top color of the edge piece is on the RIGHT, you perform R T Ri (or right up, top towards you, right back down). You will then notice that a WHITE bottom corner piece has been moved to the top layer. All you have to do now is place it back down by doing the same move we performed in step 2 and just before. Look at the color on the SIDE with white (not facing up) and match it diagonally with its corresponding center. If the corner piece is the Red/Blue/White, and blue is on the side with white, you must turn the top face until blue is matched diagonally with its center and then you MUST HOLD THAT CENTER**. You must then look to see if white is facing to the left or to the right. If it is facing to the left when you are holding the center, you must do Li Ti L -- if white is facing to the right, you must do R T Ri. You should see an edge piece matched up now with its corner and the white bottom should be complete again. how to solve a rubik's rubiks rubix rubics cube 3x3 tutorial rubik's help step by speed speedsolve solving unscramble fix learn simple easy easiest quick lesson cross fridrich petrus 3x3x3 4x4 5x5 revenge professor method algorithm beginners solution walk through guide

How to Solve a 5x5x5 Rubik's Cube - Part 3 - Edge Pairing

Shows how to pair the edges of the 5x5 cube. This is the most time consuming part of solving the 5x5 Rubik's Cube Professor. PART 4 can be found under VIDEO RESPONSES! This part covers how to match up TWO edge pieces at a time. The two edge pieces we will be working with in this video are the OUTER/WING edge pieces and the INNER/MIDDLE edge pieces. There are more advanced methods of edge pairing which can match upto 6 pairs of "tredges" (12 edge pieces) at a time, however, since it is a little more involved I will not cover multiple edge pairing in this video. I first go into detail on how to identify two edge pieces and then position them so they can be matched. PART 4 IS NOW OUT!! CLICK ON THE VIDEO UNDER VIDEO RESPONSES TO WATCH THE FINAL PART.
